This community was originally created on LJ for the benefit of authors and readers of crossover fan fiction based in the Stargate universe, including the original movie, the Stargate SG-1 TV series, and the Stargate Atlantis spinoff series. Stargate Universe, the novels, and any other spinoffs are welcome here as well! Here, you may post Stargate crossover fan fiction of any length, issue and respond to challenges, or post links to Stargate crossover fan fiction hosted elsewhere.

There are a few rules about posting to the community:

1. Only post Stargate-centric crossovers. If your story is not a crossover, then it does not belong here. If your story does not involve the Stargate universe somehow, then it does not belong here. There are plenty of other communities available to post such stories in.

2. RPF (Real Person Fic) is not permitted. Period. Other than that, anything goes. If you don't like it, don't read it.

3. All fiction, and all recommendations more than 50 words in length, are to be posted behind a cut.

4. All posted fiction must include a header with clearly marked ratings and warnings. You may copy and paste the following example header to make things easier:

Title: The title of the story
Author: The author of the story
Fandoms: Which fandoms are being crossed
Rating: Use whatever system you're familiar with
Summary: What the story's about
Warnings: (If Any)
Challenge: (If Any)
Notes: (If Any)

5. When posting recommendations, a header before the link similar to the one suggested above for fic posts would be appreciated.

6. Crossovers between the various Stargate franchises do not count for this community; they are considered part of the same universe.

7. Please tag your works for easier searching, and let me know if you need a tag that doesn't exist.
